Refund policy

Effective Date: 20/08/ 2026

This Refund & Returns Policy explains the circumstances in which refunds may be available for the Start-up Trainee Dental Nurse Service and the NEBDN Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing (RQF) provided by Education Made Right. It is intended to operate alongside the learner's course terms and applicable consumer rights.

By purchasing the Start-up Trainee Dental Nurse Service, securing a place on the course or making any payment, you confirm that you have received and had an opportunity to read this policy.

Start-up Trainee Dental Nurse Service – £100

The Start-up Trainee Dental Nurse Service is provided by Education Made Right to support candidates before they enrol on the NEBDN Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing.

The service includes:

Redesigning and improving the learner's existing CV.

Redesigning and improving the learner's covering letter.

Unlimited one-to-one interview preparation sessions.

Interview guidance, including interview dos and don'ts.

We will also contact the dental practices and arrange interviews FREE of charge for any customer who paid for the Start- up Trainee Dental Nurse Service.

The £100 Start-up Trainee Dental Nurse Service Fee is separate from the NEBDN course fee.

Where the learner subsequently enrols on the Education Made Right NEBDN Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing, the £100 paid for the Start-up Trainee Dental Nurse Service will be credited in full against the learner's course fee.

When the Start-up Service Begins

The Start-up Trainee Dental Nurse Service begins when Education Made Right starts providing the service to the customer.

For this policy, the service is considered to have started when Education Made Right begins work on the learner's CV and/or covering letter.

This may include reviewing, rewriting, redesigning or otherwise preparing the learner's CV or covering letter.

The customer may also request that other elements of the service, such as interview preparation or contacting dental practices, begin before the end of any applicable statutory cancellation period.

Cancellation and Refunds

Where the Start-up Service is purchased online, or otherwise as a distance contract, the customer may have a statutory 14-day cancellation right. This right is subject to the rules applicable to services and to any valid request by the customer for the service to begin during the cancellation period.

If the customer expressly requests that Education Made Right starts the Start-up Service during the 14-day cancellation period, the customer may still cancel during that period, but Education Made Right will charge for the proportion of the service actually supplied up to the time the customer communicates the cancellation, provided the required pre-contract information and express request have been obtained.

Once the Start-up Service has begun, Education Made Right will not automatically treat the full £100 as non-refundable solely because work has started. Any amount retained following cancellation will reflect the service already provided and will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Where the customer has received the full Start-up Service and the service has been fully performed following the learner's express request for it to begin during the cancellation period, the statutory right to cancel may no longer apply, provided the required acknowledgement was obtained.

Credit Towards the NEBDN Course Fee

If the candidate proceeds to enrol on the Education Made Right NEBDN Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing, the full £100 Start-up Trainee Dental Nurse Service Fee paid will be credited against the total course fee.

The £100 is not an additional charge on top of the course fee for the course the candidate subsequently enrols in. It is treated as a payment already made and credited against the learner's course balance.

No Guarantee of Employment

The Start-up Trainee Dental Nurse Service provides recruitment preparation and support. Still, it does not guarantee that a learner will receive a job offer or secure employment with a particular dental practice.

The final decision to interview or employ a candidate rests with the relevant dental practice.

NEBDN Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing – Course Payments

The NEBDN course fee is separate from the Start-up Trainee Dental Nurse Service Fee. Any £100 credit is applied to the learner's course balance when the learner enrols.

Where the learner has purchased the course as a distance contract, the learner may have a 14-day statutory cancellation right, subject to applicable law and the specific circumstances of the contract.

Digital Learning Content and the Course Cancellation Period

As the course includes digital learning content supplied during the cancellation period, Education Made Right will obtain the learner's express request to begin supplying that content during the cancellation period and the required acknowledgement concerning the effect of starting digital content.

The learner's statutory cancellation rights relating to digital content and services will be applied in accordance with the applicable consumer legislation. Accessing the Learning Hub does not, by itself, remove a statutory right unless the legal requirements for doing so have been met.

Cancellation of the NEBDN Course After the Cancellation Period

After the 14-day cancellation period has expired, the course fee is non-refundable if the learner chooses to withdraw from the programme, except where a refund or cancellation right applies under applicable law or where Education Made Right is otherwise required to provide a refund.

If Education Made Right Cannot Provide the Agreed Service

If Education Made Right is unable to provide a service that the learner has paid for, the learner should contact Education Made Right as soon as possible. Where a refund is legally due, the appropriate amount will be refunded in accordance with applicable consumer law.
